Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Mutton
  • Water 3 cups
  • 1/2 kg Spinach
  • 1 Pao Fenugreek
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 cup Tomatoes
  • 5-6 Green chilies
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted crushed cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp Cream
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

  1. In a pot add mutton and water, cook until it gets tender. (Add water if required).
  2. In another pot add spinach, fenugreek and 3-4 green chilies, simmer for 08-10 minutes, remove the lid and blend it well. Keep it aside.
  3. In a pan heat oil, add onion & ginger garlic paste, sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes & cook for 2 more minutes.
  5. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, roaster crushed cumin, salt, turmeric and 2 green chilies and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add mutton with broth, cover the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
  7. Add spinach mixture, mix it well. Cover the lid and cook it for 5-6 minutes on medium high flame.
  8. Add cream, garam masala, mix it well.
  9. Garnish it with green chilies.
