Ingredients
4-5
  • 1/2 cup Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 7-8 Black Pepper Corn
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • One Black Cardamom
  • 2 medium Onion, sliced
  • 1-2 medium Tomato, sliced
  • 1-inch cube Liver 1/2 KG
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp or to taste Red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander seeds roasted & crushed
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Whole spice powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1-2 Green Chilies, chopped
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
Instructions
  1. In a pan add cooking oil, cumin seeds, black peppercorn, cloves, and one black cardamom. Fry for 1 minute. Add onion, fry until brown. Add tomatoes, cook until tomatoes are soft. Add liver, fry until kaleji changes color. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well.
  2. Add coriander seeds roasted & crushed, 3 tbsp yogurt, cook for 10-12 minutes. After 10 minutes add whole spice powder, salt to taste, and green chilies. Cook until oil separates.
  3. Add dried fenugreek leaves and mix well.
  4. Serve the delicious kaleji masala with naan.
