Ingredients
3-4
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 large or 3 small Brain
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp or to taste red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp whole spice powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili, crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-inch piece ginger, julienne
  • 2-3 green chili, chopped
  • Fresh coriander, chopped handful
Instructions
  1. In a hot boiling water, add 1 tsp turmeric powder, and bring it to boil. Add brain and boil for 3-4 minutes. De-vein boiled brain.
  2. In a pan add 4 tbsp cooking oil, onion, and fry until lightly golden. Add tomatoes, and mix well. Add 1 tbsp water, red chili powder, turmeric powder, whole spice powder, coriander powder, and red chili. Mix well. Add tbsp water, salt to taste, boiled brains and cook for 7-8 minutes. Add ginger, green chilies, fresh coriander and serve.
