Why are mushrooms so healthy? because mushrooms are rich in the B vitamins: riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid. The combination helps protect heart health.

Riboflavin is good for red blood cell and niacin is good for the digestive system and for maintaining healthy skin.

Mushrooms are packed with nutritional value. They’re low in calories and are great sources of fiber and protein (good for plant-based diets). They also provide many important nutrients, including selenium, potassium, copper, and (particularly when exposed to the sun) vitamin D. Because they’re low in calories and fat they also help lose weight. They’re also good for people with diabetes. Add more mushrooms to your diet for a year and see the fantastic results yourself!

“Probiotics refers to any food that has live bacteria that can live inside of your gut,” says Dr. Trevor Kashey, an Arizona-based nutritionist and biochemist.
